The Houses
At Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy (KCGA), we are proud to introduce a unique House system, inspired by the traditional House structure in London schools.
Instead of calling our group classes “Class 1” or “Class 2,” we give each one a prestigious House name, such as Kensington House, Chelsea House, Belgravia House, and Knightsbridge House. These names are chosen from the surrounding neighbourhoods of West London to reflect the areas we serve — and to give every child a sense of belonging, pride, and community.
💡 Important to know: All of our group classes currently take place in Kensington and Chelsea venues. The House names are symbolic — designed to inspire children, connect with local families, and create a boutique experience where every gymnast feels part of something bigger.
Whether you live in Kensington, Chelsea, Belgravia, Westminster, Knightsbridge, South Kensington, Earl’s Court, Holland Park, Hammersmith, Fulham or Abingdon, your child can find their place at KCGA. We also offer personal sessions at home within the Royal Borough for families who prefer the exclusivity of one-to-one training.
Throughout the year, the House system forms the foundation for team spirit, friendly competitions, and special awards — including the prestigious KCGA Gymnast of the Year. Being part of a House makes every gymnast feel valued, recognised, and motivated to achieve their best.
