Joining KCGA
Joining Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy
We welcome new families throughout the year.
Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy offers small-group gymnastics classes for children and adults in Kensington, Knightsbridge and Chelsea.
Our classes are designed to build strength, confidence, coordination and lifelong healthy movement through a science-informed gymnastics programme.
All classes operate with a maximum of 8 participants to ensure excellent individual attention.
How Our Classes Work
KCGA provides structured gymnastics classes for:
• Children aged 4–6 years
• Children aged 7–11 years
• Children aged 10+ years
• Adult gymnastics
Classes run in small groups with an exceptional 1:4 coach–student ratio.
Group Classes run across three locations:
Kensington – St Philip’s Church (W8)
Knightsbridge – More House School (SW1X)
Chelsea – Park Walk School (SW3 / SW10)
Sessions focus on:
• fundamental gymnastics skills
• strength and flexibility
• balance and coordination
• safe progressive skill development
Our programme is led by Dr Stefan Kolimechkov, a PhD researcher in sport science and an experienced international gymnast and coach.
Class Timetable
Group classes run during school terms across our three locations. Places are limited to maintain quality and safety.

How to Join KCGA
Joining is simple.
Step 1
Choose a class from the timetable above.
Step 2
Contact us to enquire about availability.
Step 3
Attend a trial class (£40) before enrolling for the term.
Because of our small class sizes (maximum 8 students), places are limited and some classes may operate with waiting lists.
Trial Classes
New students normally attend a trial class before joining a term.
This allows the child to:
• experience the class environment
• meet the coach
• ensure the class is suitable
Trial class fee: £40
If the trial is successful, families can then enrol for the remainder of the term.
