The KCGA approach

What both group-class routes share

The age, location and programme detail differ, but both routes are built around purposeful coaching rather than unstructured open-gym time.

Structured sessions

Classes follow a clear coaching rhythm, with exercises and progressions selected for the programme and participants.

Coaching within the group

Gymnasts learn alongside others while receiving instructions, corrections and appropriate progression guidance from the coaching team.

An honest next step

Published classes do not indicate live availability. The relevant service page explains how to enquire, try a class and confirm a suitable place.

Why this overview stays concise: timetables, fees and operational details can change. The children’s and adult service pages remain the maintained sources for their respective programmes.

Choosing a route

Group gymnastics questions

Quick answers before you open the programme that applies to you or your child.

Which route should I choose?

Choose children’s group classes for a gymnast aged 4–11+. Choose adult group classes for someone aged 18 or over. If age or suitability is unclear, contact KCGA before booking.

Are beginners welcome?

Yes. Both routes include suitable starting points for beginners. The dedicated service page explains the relevant age structure, class format and enquiry process.

Where do children’s group classes take place?

KCGA publishes children’s classes in Kensington, Knightsbridge and Chelsea. The children’s group-class hub compares the three venues and their current age groups and days.

Where do adult group classes take place?

KCGA’s published adult group classes take place at St Philip’s Church in Kensington, London W8. Open the adult page for the current timetable and joining information.

Why is there no timetable or price list on this page?

This page is a two-route overview. Current schedules, fees, trial information and booking terms are maintained on the dedicated children’s and adult service pages so families and adults reach the correct information.

Can KCGA provide specialist or one-to-one support in group classes?

KCGA is a small club delivering structured group sessions and cannot provide specialist support, individually adapted instruction or dedicated one-to-one supervision within these classes. Families seeking a programme designed for disability or additional support needs can use the British Gymnastics disability gymnastics information and club finder to identify a suitably equipped provider.

Your next step
