Written highlights
February is often where progress becomes quietly visible. After the reset of January, children benefit most from repetition, predictable structure, and steady coaching cues — the simple ingredients that build confidence and reduce anxiety around new challenges. Across our venues in Kensington, Chelsea and Knightsbridge, we continue to prioritise strong basics and safe progressions rather than chasing quick skill changes.
This month’s update also connects closely with the KCGA Academy — our hub for Children’s Gymnastics Development and trusted parent guides for London families. We published three new guides designed to help parents support their child thoughtfully: how to approach gymnastics practice at home safely, when one-to-one coaching may (or may not) be the right fit, and why individualised coaching can accelerate motor development when delivered properly and at the right pace.
We’ve also added a new story to the KCGA Stories section: Leonie’s gymnastics journey. Success stories matter because they show what KCGA really looks like over time — not just skills, but a child becoming more confident, more capable, and more settled inside a positive training environment. If you’re a parent considering KCGA, Leonie’s story is a good window into the steady approach we value.
Finally, a note on our long-form resources. The February 2026 KCGA Newsletter is now available on the website for families who prefer a written catch-up, and Kensington Gymnastics Magazine continues to develop as a bimonthly educational library. Issue 1 is already live and available to download, and Issue 2 is now in progress and will be published in March 2026. We’re also pleased to confirm the magazine has been formally registered with an official ISSN: 2979-1073, recognising it as an ongoing serial publication.
As always, our focus remains unchanged: consistent attendance, calm routines, and coaching that supports long-term development. If you’re unsure which pathway is best — group classes, adult training, one-to-one sessions, or home gymnastics — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll guide you.
