Hello again! I’m Chelsea.

I am the illustrated gymnast of Kensington Gymnastics Magazine. I help make important ideas about gymnastics clearer, friendlier and easier for young readers to understand.

Some pages are written mainly for grown-ups. When you see me, I will help bring one of those ideas closer to a gymnast’s world.

In Issue 5, we will discover…

  • How good questions help knowledge grow
  • Why growing bodies can sometimes feel different
  • How muscles, food and recovery support movement
  • How skills connect step by step
  • Why a score records only one moment
  • How new competition pathways are built
  • How gymnastics can continue through adult life
  • How London places can become part of training

You do not need to grow in the same way or at the same speed as anyone else. Ask questions, listen to your coach and notice what you are learning.

Chelsea’s message

“Growing in gymnastics is not only learning a harder skill. It can mean understanding more, adapting, helping others and finding a way to keep going.”
