For us, gymnastics is more than a sport — it is a pathway to joy, confidence, and lifelong wellbeing. Since 2022, our boutique academy has been serving families across Kensington & Chelsea, offering small-group classes and bespoke private lessons. As a proud British Gymnastics member club and CIMSPA Employer Partner, we operate to the highest national standards of coaching, safety, and professionalism. Led by Dr Stefan Kolimechkov, a British Gymnastics qualified coach and published sports scientist, we blend personalised instruction with scientific insight to deliver an exceptional training experience for every child.

At Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy (KCGA), we offer a complete range of boutique gymnastics services across Kensington & Chelsea:

  • Children’s Group Classes – Small groups (max 8) with a 1:4 coach-to-student ratio, ensuring every child progresses with confidence. Now also welcoming early-years gymnasts (ages 4–6) in our locations.
  • Adult Group Classes – Welcoming sessions designed for adults of all levels, focusing on strength, flexibility, and enjoyment.
  • Private Lessons (Children & Adults) – Bespoke one-to-one coaching for faster progress, tailored goals, and personal attention.
  • Home Lessons (Children) – Exclusive one-to-one coaching delivered in the comfort of your own home in Central London.

A private boutique space in the heart of Kensington, dedicated to one-to-one coaching for both children or adults. Just a short walk from High Street Kensington, Gloucester Road, and Earl’s Court stations, the studio is equipped for personalised gymnastics training.

Adult Group Classes

Tailored classes in a welcoming environment, designed for adults at beginner to intermediate levels. Small groups ensure personalised guidance and steady progress.

Private Lessons for Children

Bespoke one-to-one coaching for ages 5–11 at The Kensington Studio, designed to nurture skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement.

Private Lessons for Adults

Personalised one-to-one sessions for adults (18–60+) at The Kensington Studio, ideal for developing strength, mastering skills, and experiencing the joy of gymnastics at your own pace.

Home Lessons for Children

Premium one-to-one coaching delivered in the comfort of your own home in Central London — combining convenience with the highest level of personalisation.

Group Classes for 4-6-year-old children are 40 min and those for 7-11-year-old children or adults are 50 min. All groups are limited to only 8 students in a class with one of the best coach-student ratio of 1:4.

Personal lessons are held at The Kensington Studio, St Philip's Church, Park Walk School, and in client's homes.

We are a relatively small gymnastics club, and therefore, we are unable to cater to students with learning difficulties and disabilities. However, if you contact British Gymnastics, they should be able to help you find a club that caters to students with specific requirements.

Our Founder

Dr Stefan Kolimechkov — Founder & Coach

Dr Stefan Kolimechkov is a British Gymnastics coach, published sports scientist, and medal-winning gymnast. With a PhD in Physical Education, his research focuses on children’s health, fitness, and wellbeing.

At Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics, Dr Kolimechkov combines his scientific expertise with a boutique coaching philosophy, ensuring every child and adult receives personal attention, evidence-based training, and a joyful introduction to gymnastics.
