Celebrating the First Year of Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy

The Annual Performance is the flagship event at Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy (KCGA), a celebration of our gymnasts’ progress, confidence, and teamwork.
Our first Annual Performance was held on 20th June 2023 at St Philip’s Church in Kensington, London W8, marking the one-year anniversary of the Academy.

This special event brought together our young gymnasts, families, and coaches to celebrate a year of growth, achievement, and joy in gymnastics. The children from both Class 1 and Class 2 performed a variety of floor routines, demonstrating strength, balance, and flexibility developed through the year.

Every gymnast had the opportunity to perform their favourite gymnastics skills in front of an audience, building confidence and showcasing their individual progress. Parents were delighted to see their children’s development, not just in technique, but also in discipline, focus, and teamwork, the core values we nurture at KCGA.

During the event, we proudly announced our Gymnast of the Year 2023, celebrating outstanding dedication, effort, and sportsmanship. The ceremony also featured the presentation of certificates, medals, and a special recognition award to our longest-standing member, a gymnast who has been part of KCGA since its very beginning in 2022.

Coach Stefan, the Academy’s founder, also presented a certificate of appreciation to Adam from The Kensington Studio, recognising his support in providing a nurturing environment for gymnastics in the community.

The event concluded with an energetic group celebration and our traditional team photo taken by our club photographer Kseniia, capturing smiles, medals, and memories from an unforgettable first year.
