Fees FAQ
Quick answers to common questions about fees, payments, and what to expect.
1. What is the best option to start with?
If your child is new to KCGA, we usually recommend a Trial Assessment Session first. It allows us to introduce your child to our coaching approach and confirm the most suitable class level in a safe and supportive way.
2. Are group class term fees refundable?
Group classes are booked per term, and term fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once a place is confirmed.
3. What happens if we miss a group class?
Missed group classes cannot be carried over or refunded. This helps us maintain consistent class planning and a stable training environment for all gymnasts.
4. How long are the sessions?
Group classes run for 40 minutes for ages 4 to 6, and 50 minutes for older children and adults. Private coaching sessions run for 45 minutes for ages 5 and 6, and 60 minutes for older children and adults.
5. What should my child wear to gymnastics classes?
For trial assessment sessions, children can wear comfortable sports clothing.
Once a child joins KCGA as a member, gymnasts are required to wear the KCGA club T-shirt during classes, along with appropriate sports bottoms. This helps maintain a professional, safe, and unified training environment.
6. What is the cancellation policy for private coaching?
Private (one-to-one) sessions require 48 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full.
7. Can two children share a private session?
Yes. We offer a two-person private session option. This can work well for siblings or friends of a similar age and level, subject to coach approval for safety and training quality.
8. Do new students need British Gymnastics insurance?
Yes. British Gymnastics insurance is a mandatory annual requirement for new gymnasts and is paid separately from KCGA coaching fees.
9. How do we pay and secure a place?
All sessions are paid in advance, and a place is confirmed once full payment is received. If you’re unsure what to book, you’re welcome to contact us and we’ll guide you.
