Classes FAQ
Which gymnastics class is right for my child?
Children who enjoy learning alongside others and building confidence socially usually thrive in our small-group classes.
For children who benefit from focused attention, specific skill development, or a quieter learning environment, private one-to-one lessons are often the best choice. We’re always happy to advise before you decide.
What ages do you teach at KCGA?
We offer:
-
Children’s group classes from age 4
-
Private lessons for children from age 5
-
Adult classes for ages 18–60+
Each programme is carefully adapted to the age, experience, and needs of the gymnast.
How small are your group classes really?
Our group classes are capped at 8 gymnasts, with an exceptional 1:4 coach-to-student ratio.
This allows every gymnast to receive individual guidance while still enjoying the motivation of learning in a group.
Do adults need previous gymnastics experience?
Not at all. Many adults join KCGA as complete beginners.
Our adult group and private classes are designed to be welcoming, supportive, and progressive — with coaching adapted to each individual’s ability and goals.
Where do classes take place?
KCGA classes are held across Kensington (W8), Knightsbridge (SW1X), and Chelsea (King’s Road / SW3–SW10).
Private and home lessons are offered at The Kensington Studio or in selected Central London locations.
Can we try a class before committing?
Yes. We encourage families and adults to get in touch first so we can guide you to the most suitable option and advise on availability, trial sessions, and next steps.
How do we get started?
