🧭 A Confident Start in Kensington

Gigi began her gymnastics journey with Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics in January 2023, at the age of 8. Training at our boutique venue at St Philip’s Church in Kensington, she immediately connected with the balance of energy, structure, and teamwork that defines the KCGA experience.

As her mum Serena shared, “She always comes home buzzing, especially when she manages a new skill she’s been working on for weeks.” That mix of challenge and fun became a weekly highlight for Gigi, and a core part of her development.

💪 Growth Beyond the Gym Floor

Gigi’s progress has been more than just physical. Over her time with KCGA, she has developed a deep confidence in her own strength, not just in body, but in mind. Training has helped her become more patient, focused, and mentally resilient.

“She’s becoming more confident in her own strength, not just physically, but mentally too. Gymnastics teaches her discipline, patience, and how to be embodied.”

These are qualities we strive to nurture in every gymnast who trains with us, confidence, discipline, and joy through movement.

🏅 A Proud Moment at High 10 Invitational

In October 2025, Gigi represented KCGA at the High 10 Invitational Competition in Essex, where she delivered an exceptional performance. With her scores from Floor and Vault combined, she earned an amazing 5th place Overall, a proud achievement for both her and our academy.

But the true highlight wasn’t just the result, it was Gigi’s presence on the floor. She stepped into the moment with joy, not nerves, and enjoyed every second of her performance.

“For Gigi, it was stepping onto the floor and realising she could actually enjoy the moment rather than just feel nervous. For us, it was seeing her smile afterwards, proud of herself and her teammates.”
