LEONIE’S GYMNASTICS JOURNEY

🧭 Growing at Her Own Pace

Leonie joined Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy one and a half year ago in September 2024 with quiet determination and a shy smile. Over the past few terms, she’s blossomed into a more confident, expressive young gymnast — supported every step of the way by coaches who celebrate progress and nurture individuality.

“Leonie loves being part of the club because she feels so comfortable growing and evolving at her own pace. The coaches support and encourage her — and reward her at every step. It’s helped her grow in confidence too.”

At KCGA, we believe every child should feel seen, supported, and inspired to develop in their own way. For Leonie, this care made all the difference.

💪 From Shyness to Strength

Gymnastics quickly became Leonie’s happy place — not just for physical development, but for emotional wellbeing.

She’s felt genuinely cared for by the whole team, which has encouraged her to push herself more each term. This growing motivation and belief in herself has carried into other areas too — including synchronised swimming, where she now trains with another London club.

“She feels cared for by all your team and yourself — and this has helped her so much. It’s even supported her in synchronised swimming, which she started last year.”

💙 A Club That Celebrates Personality

KCGA isn’t just a place for skills — it’s a place where personality and individuality are welcomed. For Leonie and her family, that care has been deeply meaningful.

“This is the first activity where Leonie has felt so nurtured. The team really takes into account her shyness, her lack of confidence — but also her unique personality.”

“She loves this activity so much… and we love it too, since it makes her happy! Leonie was very proud of becoming Gymnast of the Term withing her group gymnastics class in 2024.”

Leonie continues to grow in confidence, strength, and joy with every term. We’re proud to be part of her journey and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next.
