Who this update is for

Families already training with KCGA — and families exploring a boutique, founder-led gymnastics programme in Kensington, Chelsea, Knightsbridge, and wider London. Whether you’re considering children’s group classes, adult gymnastics, one-to-one training, or home lessons, this update offers a clear sense of our standards, values, and coaching culture.

Written highlights

January is a natural reset point in the training year. After the Christmas break, children benefit most from calm consistency, clear routines, and a steady return to fundamentals. Across our venues in Kensington, Chelsea and Knightsbridge, sessions at this time of year prioritise strength, mobility, coordination, and confidence, rather than rushing new skills.

In this month’s update, we share a grounded overview of academy life as the Spring term begins, along with reflections on the coaching habits that support long-term development: strong basics, predictable structure, and individual attention within small groups. This approach helps children rebuild rhythm and feel secure as they return to regular training.

January’s update also reflects on the role of adult gymnastics at KCGA. Having opened our first adult class in Kensington in January 2024, we continue to develop structured opportunities for adults in London to train safely, progressively, and with purpose. Gymnastics in adulthood supports strength, mobility, coordination, and long-term physical health — and reflects our belief that gymnastics is a lifelong practice, not something limited to childhood.

As we move further into the Spring term, our focus remains unchanged: consistent attendance, clear coaching cues, and an environment where both children and adults feel confident progressing at the right pace. If you’re unsure which pathway is best — group classes, adult training, one-to-one sessions, or home gymnastics — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll guide you.
