Children and adults
Group-class fees
The same published trial, term and insurance prices apply to KCGA children’s and adult group routes. Classes are booked by school term rather than as drop-ins.
Experience the class and help KCGA confirm the most suitable available group before term enrolment.
One structured class each week during the published term. Payment is made in advance to confirm the place.
The currently published annual fee is £24. It is paid directly to British Gymnastics, not to KCGA; clients should verify the current amount with British Gymnastics before purchase.
The T-shirt is compulsory for regular classes. KCGA confirms the current cost and purchase arrangement after joining.

Each regular group session for children aged seven and over lasts 50 minutes.
Coaching and KCGA participation

Straightforward answers
KCGA fees FAQ
Common questions about trials, term fees, personal coaching, insurance, payments and home appointments.
What is the best option for a new group-class gymnast?
KCGA normally recommends a £40 trial first. It introduces the coaching approach and helps confirm the most suitable available class before a term place is offered.
Do children and adults pay the same group-class fees?
Yes. The published group fees are £40 for a trial and £480 for a 12-week term for both children’s and adult routes. The currently published annual British Gymnastics insurance fee is £24, paid directly to British Gymnastics and subject to confirmation with them.
Are group-class term fees refundable?
No. Once a group place is confirmed, term fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please confirm that the timetable and commitment are suitable before paying.
What happens if a gymnast misses a group class?
Missed group classes cannot be carried over, swapped or refunded, including absences caused by illness, holidays, travel, school activities or other personal reasons.
How long are KCGA sessions?
Children’s group classes last 40 minutes for ages 4–6 and 50 minutes for ages 7+. Adult group classes last 50 minutes. Private coaching normally lasts 45 minutes for ages 5–6 and 60 minutes for older children and adults. The separately listed short personal session lasts 30 minutes.
What is the cancellation policy for personal coaching?
With at least 48 hours’ notice, a private session may be rescheduled subject to availability. With less than 48 hours’ notice, the session is charged in full and is non-refundable.
Can two people share a personal lesson?
Possibly. KCGA must first confirm that their ages, levels and goals are compatible. Shared prices are £120 for one lesson, £550 for five and £1,000 for ten.
Is British Gymnastics insurance included in the term fee?
No. KCGA club membership is included in the term fee, but British Gymnastics membership and insurance are separate. The currently published annual fee is £24 and is paid directly to British Gymnastics, not KCGA. Clients should double-check the current amount with British Gymnastics before purchasing.
How do we pay and secure a place?
KCGA confirms suitability and availability first. Payment is then made in advance by bank transfer, and the class place or private appointment is secured only when full payment has been received.
How much does a home gymnastics lesson cost?
Home lessons cost exactly the same as the personal-coaching fees shown on this page. One-person prices are £70 for a short 30-minute session, £100 for one lesson, £450 for five and £800 for ten. Shared prices are £120 for one, £550 for five and £1,000 for ten. There is no additional home or travel fee.
