Dr Stefan Kolimechkov

Stefan founded KCGA and remains closely involved in the academy’s direction. He designs the programme, mentors coaches and helps maintain consistent standards across locations.

His work combines active coaching with doctoral research, professional education and a lifetime in gymnastics. That expertise is translated into something practical: clear progressions, thoughtful teaching and decisions centred on long-term development.

KCGA coaches bring complementary movement backgrounds, but work within one programme framework: safe progressions, constructive encouragement and age-appropriate challenge.

Coach Venia

Venia combines gymnastics coaching with a broad understanding of movement. She holds a BSc in Physical Education and Sport Science and an MA in Dance Performance, with experience spanning professional dance, athletics, parkour, tricking and climbing.

Her sessions bring energy and creativity to carefully structured learning, helping children develop strength, flexibility and confidence while enjoying the process.

Gymnastics Coach · Joined 2025

Coach Silvia

Silvia brings more than 25 years of professional gymnastics and coaching experience. Her sporting career includes two Absolute World Championship titles, three Absolute European Championship titles and a World Cup title.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Acrobatics Coaching and Physical Education and a British Gymnastics Level 2 qualification in Acrobatics. Her approach is warm and patient, using deep technical knowledge to help young gymnasts build strong foundations.

Mary-Anne Gordon, KCGA Welfare Officer
04 Welfare & Family Support

Mary-Anne Gordon

Mary-Anne served as KCGA’s Deputy Welfare Officer in 2022 and 2023 and has been the Club Welfare Officer since 2024.

With a Bachelor of Education degree, Qualified Teacher Status and Designated Safeguarding Lead training, she helps KCGA maintain thoughtful professional standards and a child-centred culture.

Kseniia

Academy life includes performances, celebrations and moments of progress that families value. Kseniia documents those occasions with natural, carefully composed photography.

Photography follows KCGA’s consent, privacy and child-wellbeing procedures. Parents are informed, and children’s comfort remains the priority.
