Gymnastics Group Classes in Kensington & Chelsea
Small-Group Gymnastics for Children and Adults in London
Our group classes are intentionally kept small, allowing coaches to give every child and adult clear instruction, individual attention, and a calm, structured learning environment.
At Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy (KCGA), our group classes combine the energy of training together with the attention of a boutique academy. Classes are deliberately small, carefully structured, and delivered in a calm, supportive environment where every gymnast is seen and guided.
Max 8 gymnasts per class · Strong coach-to-gymnast ratios · Prestigious local venues
Why families choose KCGA group classes
KCGA group classes are not “crowded sessions” — they are carefully designed learning environments.
-
Small groups (maximum 8 gymnasts) so children are coached, not managed
-
Structured progressions that prioritise safety, confidence, and long-term development
-
Warm, respectful culture where gymnasts quickly feel known and supported
-
Evidence-informed coaching, led by Dr Stefan Kolimechkov, PhD
-
Trusted venues across Kensington, Chelsea, and Knightsbridge
Many families tell us the difference at KCGA is how quickly their child settles, progresses, and feels confident in the gym.

Who our group classes are for
Children’s Gymnastics (ages 4+)
Our children’s classes focus on strong foundations first — balance, coordination, shapes, rolls, jumps, flexibility, and strength — before progressing to more complex skills. Children are grouped by age and ability to ensure safe and confident progression.
Classes are ideal for:
-
Children new to gymnastics
-
Children developing confidence and coordination
-
Children who enjoy learning skills in a small group setting
Adult Gymnastics Classes (18+)
Our adult classes are structured, coached sessions focused on strength, mobility, coordination, and skill confidence. Whether you are completely new to gymnastics or returning after time away, you’ll receive clear guidance and individual feedback.
Class Timetable
Group classes run during school terms across our three locations. Places are limited to maintain quality and safety.
If your preferred class is full, we’re happy to add you to the waiting list and notify you as soon as a space becomes available.

Additional needs & support
KCGA operates as a small, structured gymnastics academy, delivering coaching through carefully planned group-based sessions with defined safety ratios, shared lesson objectives, and a consistent training flow.
As such, we are not able to accept or accommodate children with special educational needs, disabilities, or additional support requirements that require individualised attention, modified instruction, or dedicated one-to-one supervision beyond our standard group coaching format.
Our coaches are trained to deliver high-quality group gymnastics instruction; however, the presence of needs that require specialist support would compromise the safety, focus, and learning experience of the entire group, and is therefore outside the scope of what KCGA can responsibly provide.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to contact British Gymnastics for guidance on clubs and programmes that are specifically equipped and staffed to support children with additional or specialist needs.
If you are unsure whether KCGA is the right environment for your child, please contact us before booking so we can offer clear and honest guidance.
