A Different Kind of Gymnastics Academy

Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy (KCGA) is a premium boutique gymnastics academy based in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.

We specialise in small, carefully structured classes for children and adults, delivered by highly trained coaches in calm, safe, and inspiring environments.

Unlike large commercial programmes, KCGA focuses on individual attention, long-term physical development, and building confidence, coordination, and wellbeing through movement.

We have three main locations: Kensington (W8), Knightsbridge (SW1X), and Chelsea (SW3 / King’s Road), where we work with families who value quality, safety, and thoughtful coaching.

Small groups. Exceptional ratios. A warm, premium experience.

Founded and Led by Dr Stefan Kolimechkov

KCGA was founded by Dr Stefan Kolimechkov, a lifelong gymnast, qualified coach, and sports scientist with a PhD in Physical Education, specialising in health-related fitness.

Stefan created KCGA to offer something he felt was missing in London: a thoughtful, science-informed gymnastics academy where children are coached as individuals, not numbers.

His approach blends exceptional gymnastics experience, academic research in children’s health and motor development, and a calm coaching style trusted by families.

Stefan remains personally involved in coaching standards, programme design, and parent communication, ensuring KCGA stays true to its boutique ethos.
