Coach Stefan
Dr Stefan Kolimechkov is the founder of the Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy Ltd. With over 15 years of experience in coaching children in Bulgaria and the UK, he holds a QTS, Level 3 UKCC in gymnastics, and a PhD in Physical Education. Coach Stefan was awarded the highest status in the UK’s sports sector, the Chartered Activity and Health Practitioner by CIMSPA in 2020, and recognised as a Fellow of the European College of Sport Science in 2024. He published scientific articles in a variety of international peer-reviewed journals in sport and exercise sciences, and he is a 3-time London Gymnastics Champion on Rings. Stefan is currently working on his second PhD in Human Sciences at the University of Greenwich, London.

Mary-Anne, Welfare Officer
Mary-Anne Gordon has been the Club Secretary / Manager and Deputy Welfare Officer at Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy since 2022, and our Club Welfare Officer since 2024. She helps uphold safeguarding standards of the club and ensures that the values of the club are embedded. She brings a wealth of experience to the club having worked with various age groups in London. Her qualifications include a Bachelor’s of Education degree, QTS, and Designated Safeguard Lead Training.

Coach Lawrence
Coach Lawrence joined the Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy in October 2024. He is an exercise scientist who believes in taking a multidisciplinary approach to improve sport performance. He graduated from the University of Bath in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science. Currently, he is completing his Master’s degree in Sport Science from the University of Konstanz. Lawrence has extensive training in human biomechanics and have an in-depth understand of how to assess and measure human movement. He has experience coaching young athletes with various levels of ability in a range of different sporting environments. Having competed in high level regional sport, he understands the discipline and commitment required to achieve a desired sporting outcome.

Coach Rozalia
Coach Rozalia joined the Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics Academy in October 2024, bringing extensive experience in both TeamGym and artistic gymnastics. A dedicated and accomplished athlete, she competed at the British TeamGym Championships in 2024, securing a gold medal with her team. With seven years of TeamGym experience, Rozalia has consistently excelled, winning multiple golds against teams across the UK. In artistic gymnastics, she brings a further six years of training and competition experience, having won numerous competitions, and she continues to train actively. Passionate about continuous improvement, both hers and the gymnasts Rozalia regularly trains to further refine her skills and techniques.

Kseniia, Club Photographer
Kseniia has been our club’s photographer since 2022. She captured wonderful images at our Christmas, Easter, and Halloween sessions, as well as the Annual Performance at the Kensington & Chelsea Gymnastics. Bringing a blend of creativity and professionalism, Kseniia captures the real, spontaneous moments that make our gymnastics events so special. With years of experience and a background in photography, her style focuses on natural light and genuine emotion.
